This unusual string quartet uses free improvisation as a vehicle to merge familiar sounds of traditional string instruments with ripply textures through adventurous explorations of extended techniques, preparations, and circuit bent effect pedals.

The music is a dense and volatile result of intuitive abstraction, alternating between virtuosity and off-the-cliff-experimentation.
