This album serves as documentation of a strategy for solo double bass playing I'd been working on for some years. The first track is with use of a lot of preparations enabling me to work with several textural layers simultaneously without using electronic equipment. The following tracks are open improvisations without preparations focusing on microsounds and dynamics.
